I am supposed to go kayaking with my grandchildren at the lake today. I noticed last night that one of my toes has broken open and is bleeding. It is about 1/4 inch place. My toes are very swollen and started itching several days ago. I went kayaking Friday wearing an elastic stocking. I may have caused an abrasion when I was taking off the wet stocking. I hate to sound like a sissy but I am wondering if it is safe to go into the lake with a small open cut or sore.
